This is the entrance point to this dimension, where everyone appears upon bounding. The room is odd, frosted and clear windows making up a large wall. The windows face over the city, a bird's eye view, and when it rains they streak with beads of water and refract beautiful city lights. A long set of stairs takes you to and from streetlevel.
The room itself is devoid of much except for enigmatic art, almost set up like a gallery, and a soft elevator music fills the entire area. No one is ever there but those who bound, and it is unclear what its purpose is or who upkeeps it.

Aka Square, the main city square, is a large clearing decorated with strung-up paper lanterns and ornate golden statues, mostly of animals. This place is usually busy, especially during festivals, when confetti and streamers rain down. The architecture is the oldest here, beautiful to stare at and so unlike Broadripple. Though people wearing such clothing are common throughout the city, kimonos, hakanas, and other traditional garb are most concentrated here.
Raised walkways, sidled with crimson banisters, give a better look at the quaint, ancient architecture. In the middle of it all is a drum, high above ground level, and a large cluster of quiet shrines sit at the far end.

The Golden Tower is the tallest tower in Kikokawa, overlooking the entire mass of the city. The observation deck is large and open, with a small garden in the middle, bathed in sun let in by the skylight.
A ladder exists near the edge for mechanical workers, accessing the open-air roof of the tower, but there is no way you would need that...

Located under the city, lit by orange lanterns, is the Urahaba Hot Spring, a free place to unwind. Though caves are usually cold, the mist from the springs warms the entire area, all the way to the entrance at the side of a city street.
