The Aratan

Villagers refer to it as a holy mountain, housing the husk of an ancient, massive being frozen under ice and rock. It is uncertain whether this is true, or whether it is worth it to find out, but the mountain towers over the flatland like a god. The top breaks through the clouds and the view from the top is rumored to be breathtaking.

Many younger hunters, seeking to join the highly esteemed rank of hunter, make this treacherous climb to the top, as a rite of passage. One would be foolish enough to think they can make it up on their own, but they would surely freeze to death.
