Cause(s) of death, if applicable: Double Suicide (by overdose) after Soo-Jin was kidnapped at age 4 and his case went unsolved
Psychological notes: Subject displays an increased awareness of his surroundings, always watching for even the smallest details. The subject has been observed to be highly intelligent, and he adapts to his environment quickly. Speaks politely.
Personnel are advised to approach with caution. Subject displays aggression and fear toward any contact he does not initiate. He may want attention and cling to you, but it is suggested that you distract him to get him off of you instead of trying to remove him yourself. Or, wait it out. He will get bored eventually.
Sunshine appears to be the name his kidnapper gave him, and the subject refuses to respond to Soo-Jin. Subject has been observed to mutilate any toy given to him so it no longer has both eyes. Subject also has restless nights, and personnel should be mindful of his sleepwalking.
Physicality notes: Subject was found in tattered clothes and covered in dirt and dried substances. Most noticeable was the drying blood covering half his face and his mouth and chin. Tests determined the blood around the subject's mouth was not his own. A businessman matching the blood results was found dead from blood loss days later. Assumed to be subject's kidnapper. Case closed.
Subject refused to allow anyone near him, and personnel had to coax him out. Upon attempts to bathe, the subject lashed out and bit an attendant. After subduing the subject, he was found to be severely underweight with countless bruises and lacerations. Scars include teeth marks and scratches. Rope burns around wrists, ankles, and neck. The blood that covered his face hid a missing eye.
Subject has been healing considerably since arrival. Subject has been given an eye patch and proper clothes to wear. Observed to enjoy dressing up when given the chance but refuses to undress in front of anyone.
Observation notes: Upon admittance, this child was placed in an empty room with three blocks, a thumbtack, and a teddy bear for one full hour. There was a chair, a table, and a mirror on the far wall through which they were observed. Write the results of this observation here.
The subject slowly moved around the room, circling around the table. He inspected everything, refusing to touch anything but the floor for ten minutes. Subject then paused and turned his attention toward the mirror. Stared for a moment before glancing around once more. His focus turned to the table, and he picked up the thumbtack and bear before proceeding to scrape at the toy's button eye until all the thread was torn. The button fell before the bear was dropped.
The subject picked up one of the blocks and set it on the chair. The chair was then dragged over to the mirror where the subject climbed on top, picking up the block as he went. He stared at he mirror for a moment before carefully knocking the block against the mirror. Another moment passed before the thumbtack was placed in the dead center of the mirror. The subject twisted the tack before using the block like a hammer. A few hard smacks shattered the mirror.
"May I come out now? I'll be a good boy--" The subject asked before jumping off the chair, wincing as shards of glass stuck to his feet before ignoring the pain completely. Personnel rushed to the room just as the subject reached the bear once more. The subject lashed out with the thumbtack and threw the block as personnel tried to intervene.
